Jewell Wavemeter ,pattern no. 90, 150 - 625 meters. Manufactured by Jewell Electrical Instrument Co., Chicago, Illinois. I figure it was made in the twenties if not earlier.This unit is in very nice condition with a good original finish. Some minor corrosion on the handle, around the lower part of the dial bezel and the nameplate. Glass window is clean, dial is very good,inside is original, coil ok, variable cap is fine, new #41 bulb replacing the #41 it came with if it is the correct one. The bakelite face was faded somewhat and polished without losing the "meter" engraving and came out nice.

This piece is fairly rare and although untested I looked it over carefully and it should work as it is. It is of high quality as can be seen in the photos and was a must piece of equipment in its day. The fact it has survived in its present condition is a testament to the materials used,walnut and bakelite I think.
